1. Data collection on this website

This website can be used without providing direct personal data. Data is only stored if it is actively transmitted and is only used to answer enquiries regarding a therapy place or to send information material. Contact details provided in the context of enquiries are used exclusively for correspondence. In principle, data transmission on the Internet - e.g. by e-mail without encryption or accessing websites - is not secure and may be recorded by third parties. Each time this website is accessed, the provider Wix automatically collects data in server log files from the computer system from which the page is accessed. The following data is collected and stored in the log files: date and time of access, information about the browser type and the version used, operating system of the user, IP address of the user, websites from which the user's system accesses my website. Server log files are anonymised data to ensure the functionality of the website. This information does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally, but is essential for technical reasons. This data cannot be assigned to specific persons and is not stored together with other personal data. It is deleted after 90 days at the latest. The storage of the IP address by the system is unavoidable in order to establish the Internet connection and to access the website. The data is used to provide the website and is deleted as soon as the purpose of its collection is no longer necessary, i.e. when the respective session has ended. The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.​

2. Data protection during/after psychotherapeutic treatment

2.1 Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for processing your data is Article 9 (2) (h) GDPR in conjunction with Section 22 (1) No. 1 (b) of the Federal Data Protection Act.
2.2 Purpose of data processing

During psychotherapeutic treatment, personal health-related data is collected and required to ensure careful treatment. This includes personal data, as well as diagnoses and findings/doctor's letters from previous treatments. Data processing is carried out in accordance with legal requirements.
2.3 Storage of your data
Due to legal requirements, psychological psychotherapists are obliged to retain treatment-related data for 10 years after the end of treatment.

2.4 Recipients of your data
Your data will only be forwarded to legally authorized recipients or require your written consent for sharing with, for example, previous therapists/doctors. For the purpose of submitting an application and obtaining approval for therapy, data must be forwarded to the responsible health insurance company.

2.5. Your Rights
Psychotherapeutic confidentiality is a fundamental professional duty. Exceptions within which psychotherapeutic confidentiality include a current or future risk of harm to oneself or others, to protect patients undergoing treatment or other persons. You have the right to inspect your data/treatment documentation and, under certain conditions, to request the deletion or correction of your data. You have the right to revoke prior consent to data transfer at any time. Data processing is carried out in accordance with statutory regulations.
